Some rubbing and cracking along the spine edge; small tear at lower spine end.Gilt on page edges is worn.Old dampstaining to some page margins,but pages are not,and never were,stuck together.Newspaper clippings,mostly obituaries,pasted onto endpages or placed between pages of the Bible.Also a few small swatches of cloth between the pages have been left there as found.A wonderful artifact that needs to be reunited with its family.

From what I can find in the census and the SGS records, Charles Grandison Seeley was a son of Zadock Seeley and Athea Cheers, and they lived in Plum Township, Venango Co., PA.
