William SALLE , b. 1812/1813 in VA?, d. 8 Jan 1904 (possibly in MO or KS), married Mary C. (aka Callie, Katherine, Carolyn?) (no maiden name known), b. 1824 or 1833 (possibly in GA), d. 4 Mar 1904 (possibly in MO or KS).

William and Mary SALLE owned a plantation in Baldwin County, AL , near town of Brewton, prior to Civil War.


Their children were:
Nancy SALLE b. abt 1851 AL, d. 55 Jan 1937 TX
Mary E. SALLE b. abt.1854 AL
Rebecca Lee SALLE, b. 18 April 1856 Brewton, AL, d.19 Aug 1936 Mission, KS married James S. Stewart of Missouri
George F. SALLE b. abt 1858 AL
Robert Lee SALLE
