Virginia Bundegaard, a Rowayton resident for the past 45 years, died of cancer yesterday in Norwalk Hospital. She was 75.
Born April 4, 1916 in Darien, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Coleman Seely.
She was a 1934 graduate of Darien High School.
She worked in the circulation department at The Hour of Norwalk from 1970 to 1984. She also was a volunteer at Lockwood Matthews Mansion Museum for the past five years.
Survivors include two sons, Tristam B. Miles of Lighthouse Point, Fla., and Peter A. Bundegaard of Darien; two daughters, Gay Kreager of Rowayton and Robin Yerman of New Milford; a brother, Holly Seely of Wilton; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the United Church, Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton.
Contributions may be made to the Lockwood-Matthews Mansion Museum, 295 West Ave., Norwalk.
Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk is in charge of arrangements.
