Mrs. Louise Bussert
PEKIN (PNS) – Louis I. Bussert, 88, died at 5:45 a.m. Friday in Leisure Hills Nursing Home, where she was admitted Sept. 12. She had been ill seven weeks.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Preston Funeral Home. The Rev. William Pruett will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1885, at Pekin, a daughter of James and Frankie Hereford Seelye. She married Bert Bussert Dec. 25, 1910, at Pekin. He died Sept. 16, 1957.
She is survived by a son, Donald, Peoria; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Baysinger, Pekin; Mrs. Margaret Dorman, Decatur; Mrs. Louise Garrison, Tremont; and by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A son, four sisters, four brothers and one grandchild preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pekin.
