Verna L. Coburn, 93, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Hillier Funeral Home with burial following at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 18, at the funeral home. Verna was born on January 6, 1915. She was a loving mother to six children and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her sons and daughters- in-law, James and Ernestine Coburn, of Waco, Donald Coburn, Robert and Debbie Coburn and Clifford and Sylvia Coburn, all of Bryan; daughter, Joyce Smith, of Georgetown, Texas; ten grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and sister, Carroe Mae Russell, of Bryan.
