Bonnie Fay Cotten

DALLAS - Graveside services for Bonnie Fay Cotten, 85, of Tahlequah, were at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 4, at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. Officiating was Charles Ray Carter. Services were under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.

Bonnie was born on May 20, 1921, in Heath, Texas, the daughter of William Jefferson and Myrtle Dean (Sullivan) Seely. She passed from this life Nov. 30, 2006.

Bonnie retired from the nursing profession after serving 20 years. A life-long resident of Rockwell, Texas, she worked in the Dallas area. Her final nine years were spent in Tahlequah near her daughter Peggy.

A widow, she was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, J.W. Seely; a sister, Agnes Hartman; two granddaughters; and a grandson.

She is survived by her children, Martha Smith and husband Charles of Terrell, Texas, Peggy Cotten of Tahlequah, Darlene Clay and husband Terry of Greenville, Texas, Jeanette Curry and husband Richard of Ennis, Texas, Gary Darr and wife JoLynn of Childress, Texas, and James Darr and wife Wanda of Mesquite, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
