PEORIA -- Josephine L. Garrett, 92, of Sharon Willows Health Care Center, formerly of 309 W. Virginia, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 1996, at the center.
Born Oct. 16, 1903, in Peoria to William A. and Lillie Connor Seelye, she married Joseph I. Garrett on Jan. 14, 1936, in Peoria. He died Jan. 11, 1987, in Peoria. One daughter, Glenna Hall, and three brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son-in- law, Willis Hall of Peoria; one cousin, Mercedes Gummerson of Peoria; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Peoria and its Women's Guild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at her church. The Rev. John Verrier will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church endowment fund or to any charity.
