There were no funeral or calling hours for Viola LaSiege, 59, 2308 Knox St., who died Thursday evening (June 16, 1983) in the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg.
Arrangement are with the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. LaSiege is survived by a daughter, Linda Defoe, Detroit, Mich.; a foster son, Rayj Atkinson, Oklahoma; a foster daughter, Roxanne Durham, city; three sisters, Mrs. Donna Kyle and Mrs. Ruth Mackie, both of Michigan, and Mrs. Marlene Snyder, Hannawa Falls; three brothers, Wallace and Mearill Boyd, both of Michigan, and Warren Boyd, Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. LaSiege was born in Detroit, Mich. On Oct. 10, 1923, daughter of Mearill and Elizabeth Corlew Seeley. She married Ernest LaSiege and the marriage ended in divorce.
During World War II, she served in the WACs.
