Daughter of Kossuth County Settlers Dies

Algona – Funeral services were held Saturday at the Presbyterian church for Mrs. Minnie Riebhoff, 67, who died at Kossuth hospital following a heart illness of a few days. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Seely, were early Kossuth pioneers coming from Ohio and her father with Capt. Ingham, gave Plum Creek township its name from the abundance of wild plums that grew along the creek banks.
