DONNA JEAN TORHAUG, 57
Donna Jean Torhaug, 57, of Congress Square Plaza, died July 29, 2000, at Cedars Health Care Center.
She was born here, a daughter of Elizabeth Small Seeley Bennett, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Clarence L. Bennett Sr. She attended local schools.
She was a certified nursing assistant and worked for 16 years at Maine Medical Center. She also worked for the Barron Center and the Jewish Home.
She enjoyed playing beano.
Surviving are two sisters, Joyce E.S. Slater of Standish and Sybil Townsend of East Machias; and two brothers, Donald Seeley of Fryeburg and Clarence Bennett Jr. of Portland.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park.
