Ida E. Yarnell

Utica Woman, 66, Succumbs

FRANKLIN – Mrs. Ida E. Yarnell, 66, Utica RD 2, died in her home at 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Yarnell was born October 17, 1891, in Crawford County, a daughter of the late Joel and Barbara Wheeling Seely.

She is survived by her husband, William E. Yarnell, two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Ruth) Bell of Cochranton and Mrs. Richard (Clara) Smith at home, three grandchildren, a brother , Charles Seely, of Cochranton, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Artz of Utica and Mrs. Maude Summersgill of Mercer. Two children preceded her in death several years ago.

Mrs. Yarnell was a member of the Deckerds Run Evangelical United Brethren Church and a member of the Progressive Class of that church.

She was also a member of the Women’s Society For World Service and formerly taught Sunday school.

The body was removed to the Burger Funeral Home and will be taken to the family home at noon today.
