DeLoss Seeley, President of SGS from January 1, 1971 to January 1, 1980.

DeLoss Seeley was born 22 May 1913 at DeLong, Indiana and died 12 May 1986 at Olympia, WA. He was the son of Loren E. and May F. Staddon Seeley. He graduated from the University of Washington at Seattle. He served in the U.S. Navy, South Pacific, during WWII. He was President of the Great Northwest Savings and Loan, and was Chairman of the Board of Directors.

He was interested in family history and was Past President of the Seeley Genealogical Society.

He married Marian Haagan, 1 March 1942, who survives. He is survived by a son Gary D. Seeley, Olympia, WA; a sister, Mabel Seeley Sherwood, Spokane, WA.

Note: He was helping and planning to attend the SGS Reunion in Ft. Wayne, IN this month. It is a shame that he couldn't be here.
