HENDERSON, Neb. – Mary Nell Seley, 79, died July 18, 2009, at Henderson Nursing Home in Henderson, Neb.
She was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Clay Center, to Byron Ward and Jennie Joan (Milroy) McMahan.
She grew up in Clay County and graduated from CCCHS in 1947.
She married Marvin Seley on November 27, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 28, 1999. She lived in the Topeka area until 1998.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Jo Hansen of Abilene, and Jacque Ediger of Henderson, Neb.; a brother, Ward McMahan of Abilene; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
