BARTON SEELEY IS DEAD

Was Eastern Kansas Pioneer, Settling in State Fifty Years Ago.

Barton L. Seeley, 87, died yesterday at his home, 1813 Clay street. He has lived in Topeka for nearly thirty years, and settled in Kansas about fifty years ago. He was one of the early pioneers of eastern Kansas. He is survived by his widow and one son, George Seeley, of Great Bend, Kan. Funeral arrangement will be made later.

SEELEY – Funeral services for D. L. Seeley, 87, who died Saturday at his home, 1813 Clay street, will be held at 3 o’clock today. Private funeral services. Burial in Topeka cemetery.
