Donald W. Seeley

Donald W. Seeley of Bullville, a retired freight handler for Teamsters Union 707, and lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, May 21, at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown. He was 67.

The son of the late Reeves Sr. and Florence Welles Seeley, he was born July 6, 1924 in Middletown. He was a member of Bullville United Methodist Church, Bullville; he was a World War II Navy veteran; he was a member of American Legion Post 151, Middletown; and a member of Maybrook Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Blumel Seeley, at home; one son Donald William Seeley of Wurtsboro; three daughters, Suzanne Orfanides of Summitville, Barbara Candito of Tucson, Ariz., and Joan Smith of Middletown; one brother, Reeves Seeley Jr. of Burlingham; two sisters, Marion Tice of Raleigh, N.C., and Anne Allen of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, 72 W. Main St., Middletown.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Bullville United Methodist Church, Bullville. The Rev. Betty Theilmann will officiate.

Burial will held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bullville United Methodist Church or to Pine Bush Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
