Evelyn Berg Seeley, 89, formerly of Carlson Road, Kiantone, N.Y. and Memory Garden, died January 22, 2015, in Jamestown.
She was the wife and best friend for over seventy years of Walter Stirling Seeley, whom she married October 13, 1943 and who died August 7, 2013.
She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for decades, primarily as private secretary to Cline Crawford of Crawford Furniture Manufacturing.
Evelyn treasured her family, friends, and home, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her winters in Winter Haven, Florida with her husband and the activities they shared with friends in antique automobile clubs.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Taylor of Jamestown and Peggy (Larry) Witherow of Albion, Pa.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and six siblings.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Shongo.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will not be observed.
