Osceola – Frederick Coates Seeley, a lifetime resident of the Cowanesque Valley died in the Blossburg Hospital on January 27, 1949. The son of Joel and Myra Coates Seeley, Mr. Seeley was born in Knoxville May 5, 1878 and spent the major portion of his life is Osceola. A gentleman and a scholar, Mr. Seeley is survived by a lone brother, Merl Seeley of this place.
Burial was made at the Osceola Fairview Cemetery at 2 p.m., Sunday, Rev. Charles Carpenter and Rev. Gerald Welbourn, officiating.
