Edgar B. Seeley Sr., 58, of 121 Doll Parkway, died Monday at Community General Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Carbondale, Pa., Mr. Seeley lived in Syracuse 25 years. He was formerly custodian at Henninger High School. He was a World War II navy veteran.
Mr. Seeley was a member of Lafayette Avenue Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Hathorne Seeley; two sons, Edgar B. Jr. of Binghamton and Robert R. of Syracuse; four daughters, Jeanne Watson of Delray Beach, Fla., Doris Stucker and Susan McCants, both of Slidell, La., and Nancy Seeley of Bridgeport; a brother, R. Raymond Seeley of Carbondale; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart, Pa.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today (July 3) at Greenleaf Funeral Home.
