Forest Glenn Seeley, 87, of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., passed away Jan. 28, 2009, at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange, Fla.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

Forest was born Dec. 22, 1921, to the late Claude and Alice (White) Seeley in Hastings, Neb. He was a chemist for Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a multi-patent holder. Forest was a member of the Port Orange Elks Club, the Oak Ridge Lions Club and Chapel on the Hill in Oak Ridge, Tenn. He also attended Port Orange Presbyterian Church.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Emoline "Clem" Seeley of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla.; sons, Philip Seeley (Judith) of Florida, and Kenneth Seeley of Tennessee; grandchildren, Stephanie McAllister of Florida, Kimberly Griffiths (Daniel) of Georgia, Jason Fisher (Amy) of Tennessee, and Christopher Fisher (Hollie) of Tennessee; and great-grandchildren, Jake McAllister and Samantha McAllister, both of Florida, Jackson Fisher, Emerson Fisher, and McKenna Fisher, all of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129, in Forest's honor.
