Memorial service planned Friday for UA researcher George Seeley
Seeley died Sunday. He was 50.
The 2 p.m. service will be at Abbey Funeral Chapel, 3435 N. First Ave.
Seeley, a native of Bayonne, N.J., moved here in the late 1960s to attend the University of Arizona, where he received a master's degree in psychology and a doctorate in experimental psychology, said his wife, Kathleen S. Seeley.
He worked at the center for about 10 years, she said.
Besides his wife, Seeley is survived by a son, George M. Seeley III; a daughter, Kathleen M. Seeley; his mother, Mary Seeley, all of Tucson; and a sister, Amanda Gerkens, of Warwick, N.Y.
