Jan Seeley

Jan Seeley, 77, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., died Tuesday at home.

Born in Scranton, she was a telephone operator for the Telephone Answering Exchange, Scranton, for 40 years and had been a resident of Florida since 1991. She was a member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach, and United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Scranton.

She was a dog lover and had two dogs

Surviving are a son, Ben, New Smyrna Beach; a daughter, Susan Colello, Swiftwater; a grandson, five granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held today at 5 p.m. in Coronado Community United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert C. Brown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, 441 E. 92nd St., New York, N.Y., 10128.
