Lawrence Seeley; DPW employe
Lawrence H. Seeley, 67, of 3010 Grant Blvd., died yesterday at Veterans Administration Hospital.
He was a life resident of Syracuse and was employed by the Syracuse Department of Public Works, where he worked for 20 years, retiring three years ago.
Mrs. Seeley was a member of Sea and Field Masonic Lodge 983 Central City Consistory of the Tigris Shrine and a member of the Shrine’s Oriental Band.
He also was a member of the Tigris Bowling League and a member of the Syracuse Turtles.
Surviving are his wife, Eva S. Seeley; two sons; Larry J. and James DuBose; two daughters, Mrs. Ike Wall and Mrs. John Matvyak; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Owens; three brothers, William, Olin, and Leo; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Welter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Crippled Children Hospital.
