Mrs. Mabel C. Seeley, 276 Chestnut St., died March 23 at her home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bookhout Funeral Home, the Rev. William H. Ceappts, pastor of Elm Park Methodist Church, officiating. The body will be placed in the funeral home vault for burial later this year in Oneonta Plains Cemetery.

She was born in Bennettsville, a daughter of George and Estella (Christman) Vandewarker. She was married to Harold Seely Nov. 27, 1915, in Oneonta.

A resident of Oneonta for 50 years, she was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Autumn Lodge 83.

Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Shaver, 270 Chestnut, St.; two sisters, Mrs. Ina Hallenbeck, Bennettsville, and Mrs. Pearl Hoyt, Kirkwood; an Aunt, Mrs. Anna Christman, Deposit, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home until service time. The family will be in attendance from 7-9 p.m. Monday.
