Mrs. Seeley Dies
Mrs. Maggie Doris Gross Seeley, 73, died in the home of a son, Floyd Gross, 1634 S.P St., at 9 a.m. Friday.
Rites will be held at the South Side Tabernacle at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Daniel Pontzious, pastor. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery. The body is at the York and Wright Memorial Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Surviving are: four sons, Floyd, Elwood; Morris and Harold, Tucson, Ariz., and Carl, Alexandria: three daughters, Mrs. Mary Jones, Muncie; Mrs. Jeanne Wright, Kokomo, and Mrs. Barbara Townsend, Elwood; 34 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Seeley was born at Windfall, June 7, 1885, a daughter of Jabez and Martha Snipe Birt. Fifty-five years ago she married Thomas L. Gross, now deceased. She had been ill five weeks.
