Marcia Seeley

The funeral of the late Mrs. Marcia Seeley, age 85, who died at the home of Frank Farley at Watrons last Friday, was held from the Baptist church here on Sunday, at 11 a.m., Rev. Charles Jenkins officiating. The funeral sermon was an impressive one and was preached from a text that the deceased selected herself: “I shall be satisfied.” One of the hymns sung was also founded on the same verse of scripture. She was born near Wellsboro in November 1820. Since the death of her husband many years ago, she had had no fixed place of residence, but made her home with relatives and friends in various places, working at dressmaking when her health would permit.
