Ballston Spa - Miss Martha Melinda Seeley was found dead in bed at her boarding place yesterday. She had been failing rapidly of late from disease incident to age, and her death was not unexpected. She was born in Ballston eighty-five years ago, being a daughter of Major Nathan and Pauline A. Seeley. She was baptized by Rev. Sylvester S. Parr, pastor of the Baptist Church, February 23, 1834, being the oldest member of the church. The funeral will be held Friday from the home of William H. Pettit, where she died. Rev. A.C. Baldwin officiating.
