Richard E. Seeley, 77, Boscobel, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001 at his home in Boscobel. He was born on Jan. 11, 1924 to Wilbert and Lois Seely. He married Margaret Wayne on Oct. 7, 1950. He was a long time farmer in the Mt. Zion area. He was a very special grandfather to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren that his wife Margret did daycare for. He’ll be deeply missed by them all.

He is survived by his wife Margret, Boscobel; two sons, Dennis (Patty), Sauk City, and jerry (Portia), Gays Mills; four grandchildren, Pam (Seeley) Reisinger, Spring Green, Jennifer Campbell, Madison, Robert Seeley, Boscobel, Melinda Seeley, Gays Mills; two great-grandchildren, Erika and Zakary Reisinger, two sisters, Peggy Rice, Platteville and Doris Hamele, Portage; and a brother, Wilbert Seeley, Jr., Lakewood, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Lois Seeley, his brother, John Seeley and a grandson, Mark Seeley.

Services were held Wednesday at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home in Boscobel with Pastor Stan Pegram officiating with burial in the Boscobel Cemetery with Military graveside rites by Blake-Semrad American Legion Post and the Gilbertson-Pitzer VFW of Boscobel.
