Charley M. Seely rites today

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Campbell Funeral Home for Charley M. Seely, 82, who died Friday evening at the Virginia Gay hospital. Rev. Robert W. Tull officiated and burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

He was born March 29, 1887 near Benton City, a son of William E. and Alice Dorsey Seely. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the George G. Luckey Post of the American Legion. He was a partner in the Pickering and Seely tavern and recreation parlor before retirement.

Surviving are 17 nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
