MADISON - Ethel Erma Fricke Seely, age 95, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Chamomile Assisted Living.
She was born on April 24, 1919, in Manitowoc, the daughter of Edward O. and Alice L. (Kimmel) Fricke. Ethel was a resident of Madison since 1962. She ran a day care out of her home for many years. Ethel dedicated her life caring for others.
Ethel is survived by her brother, Allen (Bernie) Fricke; sister-in-law, Gloria Fricke; and many special nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Clara, Ernst, Alice, Bob, Viola, Elmer and Edna.
A memorial service will be held at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5202 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
