Byron A. Seely, 89, of Wheeler Road, LaGrange, died this morning in Elyria Memorial after an illness of six weeks.
Mr. Seely was born in LaGrange Township and had lived in the community all his life. He was a retired farmer and also had been employed at Lorain-Cuyahoga Works, U.S. Steel Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie and two grandchildren. A son, Carl died in 1967 and a daughter, Edna Mary, died in 1919.
The funeral service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Russell D. Fulton Funeral Home Grafton. The Rev. Leland Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Elyria.
Friends will be received at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
