Mrs. Fred R. Seely

ST. JOHN – Mrs. Daisy Seely, 84, former St. John resident, died Sunday at a Fort Scott hospital. Born Sept. 14, 1888, at Lyons, she was married to Fred R. Seely, Dec. 31, 1910, at Lyons. She lived here 31 years.

She was a member of PEO.

Survivors are the widower: son: Scott, Los Angeles; daughters: Mrs. Adeline Gates, Fort Scott; Mrs. Ann Tenberthy, Scottsdale, Ariz.; brother; Fred Buckley, Sacramento, Calif.; Eph Buckley, Auburn, Nev.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Funral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Minnis Chapel, St. John, Rev. Terry Bonham officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Friends may call 1 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to an Ottawa home for mentally retarded adults. Memorials may be given through the funeral home.
