Glen A. Seely


SEELY Glen A. Seely, age 86, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008, at Columbus Rehabilitation & Subacute Institute. Glen worked as a truck driver for Continental Trucking. Member of the Local Union of truck drivers. He served in the Coast Guard in World War II. Member of the Don Gentile American Legion Post 532 and the V.F.W post 4044. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and hunting. Glen had great sense of humor and loved making jokes. Preceded in death by his loving wife Alma, parents Charles and Anna Seely, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by sister, Esther Thornton; life long companion, Edith Mae Baker; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. Funeral service will be on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 1 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad Street, where friends may call 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
