Helen B. Seely, 84, of Pittsburg, died at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at the Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center, Pittsburg.

She was born Feb. 27, 1922, at Pittsburg, to Elmer and Lillie Prince Schneider. She attended Pittsburg schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1940. She was a resident of Pittsburg all her life.

She married David Eugene "Gene" Seely on March 8, 1944, in Pittsburg. He survives at the home.

She was a homemaker and also helped her son with the operation of Mike's New and Used Sales.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a former member of the Rob Morris Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge.

In addition to her husband survivors include a son, David "Mike" Seely of Pittsburg; two grandchildren; and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne M. Verdugo; two brothers, Harold Schneider and Lloyd Schneider; and two sisters, Crystal Rhoads and Marie Collies.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brenner Mortuary with Rev. Don Foster of the Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Brenner Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary 114 E. Fourth St., Pittsburg.
