Publication Helen P. Chappell Seely, 82, of 325 Lower Mulberry St., Danville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior,Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Geisinger Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 28,1925 in Greensburg, the daughter of the late John and Mary Barbish.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville and was employed at Geisinger for 26 years in the dietary dept, retiring in 1987.

Surviving are daughters: Barbara Rinehart, Helen Cox, Mrs. Terry (Susan) Mowrer all of Danville, son: Kenneth, husband to Melissa Chappell of Millville, 18 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her 1st husband, Claude Chappell, 2nd husband: George Seely, sons: Claude Chappell Jr., Thomas Chappell, son-in-law: John Rinehart, brother: John Barbish, sisters: Pauline and Mary.

Funeral services will be held Sat. 11:00 at the Brady Funeral Home Inc. with her pastor Rev. Dr. Harry Wonderland assisted by associate pastor, the Rev. David Mouw. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Danville. Friends may visit with the family Sat 10:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
