Henry L. Seely

WALTON – Henry L. Seely, 88, former resident and business man of Walton, died of a heart attack Tuesday, November 26, while sitting on the porch at the home of his son, Theodore Seely in Brevard, N.C. He had been living with his son.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Christ Episcopal Church, Walton, with the Rev. Arthur W. Abraham, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.

Mr. Seely was born Sept. 14, 1869 in Deposit, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Linus Seely. His late wife was the former Maude Sawyer of Walton. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and was also a Spanish War Veteran.

Surviving are one son, Theodore, of Brevard, N.C., and two grandsons. Friends may call at Clark Funeral Home, Walton, after 7 p.m. Thursday.
