Lloyd C. Seely

AZLE - Lt. Col. Lloyd C. Seely, an Army retiree and a retired life science teacher for the Fort Worth school district, died Wednesday at his Azle home. He was 78.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Castleberry Baptist Church.

White's Funeral Home in Azle is in charge of arrangements.

Col. Seely was born in Allegan, Mich., and had lived in Azle since 1966.

He retired from the Army in 1975 after serving for 34 years.

Col. Seely was the widower of Dorothy Seely, his wife of 47 years.

Survivors: Three daughters, Marie Simmons and Carol Kimbrell, both of Azle, and Pat Dwight of Laguna Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
