R. Bruce Seely


MT. PLEASANT – R. Bruce Seely, 81, died Monday in a Mt. Pleasant hospital of a coronary occlusion. Born July 28, 1880, Mt. Pleasant, to William H. and Charlotte Lenorah Reynolds Seely. Married Pauline Hafen Oct. 15, 1902, Manti Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Farmer. Former Mt. Pleasant town marshal. Active LDS. Survivors: widow, sons, daughters, Que H., Mt. Pleasant; Paul B., Salt Lake City; Boyd R., Murray; Hale B., Portland, Ore.: Mrs. Aury (Iona) Draper, Fountain Green, Sanpete County, Mrs. Corene Hollingsworth, Union, Salt Lake County; Mrs. Frank (Lizetta) Bush, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Douglas (Gwen) Stewart, Anchorage, Alaska; 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Seely, Mt. Pleasant. Funeral Friday, 1 p.m., Mt. Pleasant First-Fourth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Jacobs Mortuary Thursday 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to time of service. Burial Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
