Roy E. Seely of Justin Dies

Roy Edward Seely, 46, lifelong resident of Justin, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday in Justin. Funeral services will be Sunday in Justin at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.

Interment will be in the Justin IOOF Cemetery with the Schmitz Funeral Home of Denton in charge of arrangements.

Seely, a retired farmer, was born on Dec. 1, 1902. He was married to Miss Flora Lynce on May 23, 1925 in Justin. He attended the Justin schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He farmed until about four years ago.

Survivors include his wife, his mother, Mrs. G.W. Seely; two sons, George Truman Seely and Edward Lee Seely; all of Justin; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Webb and Miss Roy Sue Seely, of Justin; eight brothers, Author of Sanger, Earl, Homer and Virgil of Fort Worth, Tom and Walter of Justin, Charlie of Corpus Christi and Horace of Victoria, Tex.
