Mrs. Clyde (Grace) V. Seelye, 79 of 1409 Hickery, died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for a short time.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with Richard Chastain, minister of the Central Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Potosi Cemetery.

Born Oct. 1, 1897 in Ellis County, she was married to Clyde Seelye Sept. 21, 1914 in Denton. They moved to Abilene from Denton in 1915.

Mrs. Seelye was a member of the Central Church of Christ and attended school at Potosi and Denton.

Survivors include her husband: three daughters, Mrs. George S. (Jewell) Harris of 784 Westwood, Mrs. Derwin E. (Bobbie) Bridges of 825 Peake and Mrs. James F. (June) Black of Lubbock; two brothers, O.J. Welch of Polosi and O.B. Welch of 825 Grand; one sister, Mrs. Maude Reynolds of Baird; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

The family will be at 784 Westwood.
