SEELY, NORVEL – Services will be held in the Greenlawn Chapel at 3 p.m. Wednesday for Norvel Seely, 73, 1908 ½ East California Avenue, who died Saturday in a Bakersfield hospital. Rev. Roy Harvey will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Seely was a native of Arkansas and resided in Kern County 35 years. Before retirement he had engaged in the petroleum industry for 14 years and was last employed as a roustabout by Gulf Oil Co. Survivors include a daughter, Erma Morgan of Bakersfield; a brother, Fred Seely of Oklahoma; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Higuera, Hale Coderisan, Cary Morgan, Jim Morgan, Don Kalan and Roy Butler.
