Robert E. SEELY

Seely, Robert E. – In Redwood City on Sept. 14, 2000, at the age of 88. He was born on Feb. 29, 1912 in Redwood City. He graduated from Galileo HS in SF and went on to UC Berkeley and graduated from UCST with a degree in Pharmacy in 1937. He owned the Fuller Pharmacy at 20th and Irving in SF during the 1940’s and after moving to Redwood City in 1949 worked at the White Oaks and Brittan Pharmacies in San Carlos and the Redwood Pharmacy until he retired in 1977.
He was a member of SIRS, Fun after 50, and AARP. He was an active fisherman, hunter and an avid Cal Bears fan.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy; his daughters, Judith Seely Kirk (John) of Redwood City and Barbara Slough (Andrew) of Sun Valley, Idaho; his grandchildren, Wil and Kate Seely-Kirk and Andrew and Robert Slough.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Redwood City Senior Center.
