SJ Barber Bert Seely Dies at 58

San Jose Barber Bert C. Seely, 58, who last worked in the Hotel Sainte Claire, died Tuesday in a hospital here after a brief illness. Seely had been a barber for 25 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church; Fraternity Lodge 399. F&AM , and the Barber's Union, Local 252. He lived at 225 Brokaw Road.

Surviving are his wife, Ellie Vivian Seely; a son, Robert Seely of San Jose, and a daughter Gail Seely of San Jose. Rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow from the John E. Dowdle Morturary. Interment will be in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
