Wilma died on February 20, 1980 at Sierra Meadows Convalescent Hospital on Highway 49 on the outskirts of Oakhurst, Madera Co. Shortly thereafter, the hospital was sold, demolished, and the site made into a golf course. No hospital records or data left. There was no funeral in Oakhurst, and the remains were transported to the Rose Hill Mortuary in Whittier, CA by Sierra Funeral Chapel of Oakhurst. There was no mention of decedent's previous address in Riverside, CA .

She reportedly is survived by a son, Ralph E. Seely, of 4184 Triangle Road, Mariposa, Mariposa Co., CA These two mountain communities almost adjoin each other.
