Claire M. Seely

Services will be Friday for Claire M. Seely who died at a local hospital Monday following a brief illness. She was 89.

Seely, born in Calaveras County, moved to Santa Rosa in 1957.

She was a legal secretary for 11 years prior to her retirement in 1968. She was a member of the Legal Secretaries Association of Sonoma County and a Christian Science Church member.

She is survived by a daughter, Marjel Higgs, Meridian, Idaho; sons, William Seely Jr., Project City, Ronald Seely, Truckee, and Whitney Seeley, Olympia, Wash.

Services will be 11 a.m. at Lafferty and Smith Colonial Chapel. Inurnament will be private.
