DEATHS
Donald Seely
Donald R. Seely, a retired artist whose family was among the first to settle in the Aromas area, died Monday at a local convalescent home. He was 74.
Mr. Seely was born in Aromas, attended local schools, and graduated from Salinas Junior College (now Hartnell College) and from the San Francisco College of Fine Arts.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Seely was an artist and a charter member of the Aromas Art Guild. He also played Santa Claus for many years at the Aromas school.
He leaves his brother, Edwin Seely, of Bullhead City, Ariz.; his nephew, Michael Seely, of Aromas; and three grand-nieces.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Davis Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be private.

FUNERAL NOTICE
SEELY--In Watsonville, Oct. 24, 1988, Donald R. Seely, 74, a native of Aromas.
He leaves his brother, Edwin Seely, of Bullhead City, Ariz.; his nephew, Michael Seely, of Aromas; and three grand-nieces.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Davis Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.
