BART HAMMOND SEELY

Bart Hammond Seely, proprietor of a San Bernardino recreation hall, died Saturday at his home, 1082 Fifth street. He was 75 years old, native of Whitesville, New York, had resided in California 30 years and in San Bernardino 25 years.

He was a member of hector lodge No. 31, Knights of Pythias, for 49 years, and also a Spanish-American war veteran, having been sergeant of Company B, Twenty-first Kansas Volunteers.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Seely, of Bernardino; two daughters, Mrs. Berta Bristow and Mrs. Frankie Marola, and a granddaughter, Ann Phy, all of San Bernardino; one sister, Miss May Seely, of Placentia; and two brothers, Frank of Woodward, Okla., and Charles Seely of San Bernardino.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mark B. Shaw memorial chapel. Burial will be in Montecito Memorial park.
