Wayne R. Seelye

SOMONA – Wayne Roger Seelye, 43, a longtime resident of Sonoma, died Sunday at home.

A native of Hamilton, Mont., he was a graduate of Sonoma Valley High School. He worked for Shamrock Materials in Sonoma for 20 years.

He is survived by his children, Roger Seelye, Oklahoma, and Michael Seelye, Chandra Seelye and Shannon Seelye, all of Sonoma; brothers, Duane Seelye, Napa; Harold Seelye, Washington, and Billy Seelye, Montana; sisters, Dorothy Sheldon, Montana; Faye Mays, Texas; and Betty Ogata, Sonoma; mother, Frances Seelye, Washington, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private inurnment was under the direction of Bates, Evans and Fehrensen, Sonoma.

Memorial contributions to Valley of the Moon Little League or the donor’s favorite charity are preferred by the family.
