Mrs. Seeley Dies In Local Hospital Mrs. Martenia Seeley, mother of Mrs. G.V. Copson, died in a local hospital following an illness of three days brought on by a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Seeley was born in Jones county, Iowa, January 8, 1866, and Margaret Moore Welch. She had been a resident of Oregon for the past 56 years and had been making her home at 205 North Twelfth street. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. June Copson, Corvallis, and Miss Hazel Seeley, Portland; one son, L. Victor Seeley, Independence, a brother, John Welch, St. Paul, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Tressie Nichols, Denver, Colorado, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private funeral service under direction of the Keeney Funeral Home will be conducted by the reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Corvallis, at Mount Crest Abbey mausoleum, Salem, at 10 o’clock Thursday morning.
