Paul Edgar Seeley

Paul Edgar Seeley, 84, of Cave Junction died Tuesday, March 1, 1994, at his home.

Private family services have been held, Slawson’s Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Seeley was born Jan. 19, 1910, in Cairo, N.Y. On Aug. 4, 1935, he married the former Pauline Oliphant in Bethany, Mo. They moved to California where he worked as a carpenter. In 1992 they moved to Cave Junction from Carpenteria, Calif.

He was a charter member and also a 50-year member of the Westchester, Calif., Elks Lodge.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Robert Seeley of New Mexico, two daughters, Anne Birch of Cave Junction and Patricia Moorehead of Ridgecrest, Calif., 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
