Bernice Lambrecht Seeley

Bernice Lambrecht Seeley, 74, of Salem died Sunday.

Born in Sublimity, she was a cannery worker.

She baked cakes and arranged flowers for many local weddings.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Eagles Lodge and a cannery workers’ union. She enjoyed gardening and collecting dishes.

Survivors include her husband, William of Salem; daughters, Marilyn Harper of San Diego and Kathleen Byrd of Salem; sons Garry and James, both of Salem; sisters, Rosella Gruenfelder of Salem and Katherine DeSmit of Woodburn; brothers, Bernie Lambrecht of Styton and Delmer Lambrecht of Sublimity; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visiting will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Barrick mortuary.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the mortuary.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
